What we collect
When you connect your Tesla account, we request read-only access to your vehicle's state-of-charge (battery level) via the Tesla Fleet API. We store an OAuth refresh token (encrypted at rest) and a short-lived access token to retrieve this data.
We collect the trip query you type (origin, destination, activity preferences) to generate your itinerary. We do not collect your name, address, or payment information.
Dietary preferences
If you enable diet preferences in the app, we store your dietary preferences as a special category (Art. 9 GDPR) under your explicit consent. You may withdraw this consent at any time in Settings. We record the version of the consent you gave and the timestamp for compliance purposes.
How we use it
Vehicle state-of-charge is used solely to prefill your starting battery percentage in the trip planner. We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising. We do not send commands to your vehicle.
Data retention
OAuth tokens are stored only as long as your account is active. Trip history (your queries and generated itineraries) is stored in your account while it is active. You may request deletion by emailing privacy@fortunaterra.com.
Tesla data
Data obtained via the Tesla Fleet API is used in accordance with Tesla's Privacy Policy and the Fleet API Terms of Service. You may revoke our access at any time from your Tesla account settings.
